gjalla is in beta

We’re still iterating on what lives in each tier. Limits and prices on this page are best-effort current as of the last doc refresh. For what’s live right now, see gjalla.io/pricing. If a tier doesn’t fit your team, email sales@gjalla.io and we’ll figure something out.

At a glance

gjalla is free to start on the Starter tier ($0). You get your rules and standards enforced across any coding agent, the skills library, production-readiness code reviews, and your data in the web portal and via MCP. Startup ($199/month, or $1,990/year with 2 months free) adds the full context engine: your master spec living and organized, multi-repository context and guardrails, spec generation, and full history. Custom scales and governs all of it for your org with custom limits, orchestration, and requirements like SSO.

What people typically pick

  • Starter works for solo builders shipping into one repo who need rule enforcement and production-readiness reviews. The rule check alone is usually enough to change how an agent behaves on PRs.
  • Startup is the right fit for teams shipping AI-generated code to production. The master spec and living documentation stay current and reachable by your agents over MCP, architecture and capability reviews grade against that spec, and you get full findings and change history.
  • Custom is for orgs with complex systems and governance needs. Custom project, team, and credit limits, custom agent orchestration, cross-agent memory, and requirements like SSO or custom deployment environments.

Local-only mode

You can use the CLI without a gjalla account at all. Skills, rules, and state still work. They’re read from local docs you point gjalla at. PR check runs and the workspace UI require an account (any tier).

Local-only is good for evaluating the workflow before you commit to an account, or for repos that can’t connect to external services. You can connect later without losing local attestation history. They upload on the next sync.
